Tyrrell's launches new Apple Crisps

 Tyrrells Apple Crisps

October 08, 2013

English Chips maker Tyrrells is expanding its range of high end snacks with the launch of its new Apple Crisps.

The sweet slivers of apple are made from the whole apple, so not a morsel of the fruit goes to waste. Tyrrells Apple crisps are available in two variants from mid-September;Proudly Plain and Smashingly Cinnamony.

Made from vibrant Red Delicious apples, the crisps are thinly sliced and delicately cooked so as to create a sweet yet crisp eating experience. Like their potato cousins, their smart coats are left on to provide an altogether more novel nibble.

In handy 30g packs, each bag contains only 2% of your daily saturated fat allowance, significantly lower than other sweet treats on the market.

A spokesman for the company said: “We are very excited about our new sweet addition to the Tyrrells range. Our apple crisps are perfect teamed up with a mid-morning coffee or as sweet treat in the afternoon. We have developed our range for consumers who are looking for a high quality moment of sweet indulgence when something savoury just won’t do.”
