Leading artisan crisp producer, Fairfields Farm, is celebrating the latest in a string of business awards as it walks away with the Made in Central and East of England Food & Drink Award.

Beating off stiff competition from the likes of Premier Foods UK, Peck Drinks and Pioneer Foods, Fairfields Farm, which grows its own potatoes and produces its own hand-cooked crisps and snacks from its purpose-built factory on its farm in Wormingford, Essex, came out on top as the leading food and drink producer for the region.

Robert Strathern, co-founder of Fairfields Farm:

“We are both over the moon and really surprised to have picked up this award.”

“Our brand has always been about quality, consistency and innovation, whilst staying true to our farming roots.”

“Awards like this are a great reminder of all the hard work the team puts in and of how far the brand has come since we launched in 2006.”
The Made in Central and East of England Awards are organised by Insider Media, the UK’s most successful regional B2B media company and celebrate all that's great about manufacturing, shining a light on the region’s most innovative and dynamic manufacturers.

The awards also recognise those who are achieving excellence in training and apprenticeships.

As a family-run firm that is 100% sustainable from renewable energy, Fairfields Farm continues to drive excellence through both its farming and manufacturing division, whilst producing the highest quality crisps and snacks for retail and food service.

Robert Strathern:

“Our brand continues to go from strength to strength.”

“Over the last two years we've opened our own anaerobic digester and converted to 100% renewable energy, we've rebranded our fairfields farm crisps range, acquired an additional brand with Ten Acres and gained major listings with Holland & Barratt and Ocado.”

“It's been a lot of hard work, but the recognition of awards like this make it all worthwhile.”
Fairfields Farm produces a range of hand-cooked crisps under the Fairfields Farm and Ten acre brands and is unique as a company that only makes crisps from potatoes it grows.

These wonderful hand cooked crisps are available throughout the UK in independent delis and farmshops and direct to your doorstep nationwide through Milk and More.
