The price jump in quotations on the effective potato market seems to be continuing. PotatoNL reports in its weekly update that it expects the drought in Europe to continue in the coming weeks. "Now that it is clear that the growth and yield of early potatoes are being slowed down, the connection with the new harvest has become a market sentiment factor."

The fact that processors and traders are looking for suitable batches is reflected in a significant increase in quotations. According to PotatoNL, the effective market is looking for a new balance.
