TNA Solutions successfully showcased its tna conti-pro PEL 3 fryer for pellet and extruded snacks at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, where it presented a full line-up of intelligent integrated distribution and packaging systems at stand W-2350.

As a complete solutions partner to the food industry, TNA demonstrated how its technologies strengthen resilience, efficiency, and growth for manufacturers. The equipment on display illustrated the company’s commitment to delivering seamless production flow, maximised efficiency, and reduced waste.

Demand for extruded and pellet-based snacks continues to rise in North America, with the extruded snacks segment valued at USD 9.36 billion in 2024 and projected to grow at a 3.27% CAGR through 2033. Making its expo debut and manufactured in the United States, the tna conti-pro PEL 3 attracted significant interest for its high-performance, low-oil-volume design. Its four-belt configuration delivered even frying and comprehensive de-oiling, supported by precise temperature control and continuous oil filtration to maintain product quality and minimise waste.

TNA also featured the tna roflo® HM3 horizontal motion conveyor, engineered for gentle, consistent product transfer and flexible distribution to multiple packaging lines. Another highlight was the “Perfect Pair”: the tna robag® 3e vertical form-fill-seal system integrated with tna auto-splice 3 film-splicing technology, which eliminates manual roll changes and maximises uptime.

Mukul Shukla, Vice President of TNA North America:

"In the US, the trend towards portion control and the ‘snackification’ of meals is accelerating, with multipacks and single-serve formats meeting both budget and lifestyle needs. Meanwhile, better-for-you preferences are pushing demand for high-protein, high-fiber, and clean-label snacks. Bold flavours, collaborations, and ‘swicy’ products are also gaining traction as consumers seek novelty."

"Across the board, manufacturers want the same thing—higher throughput, tighter resource efficiency, and sustainable production with less complexity."

Throughout the show, TNA highlighted how its unified ecosystem integrates every stage of distribution, seasoning, and packaging to help producers operate faster, reduce complexity, and unlock greater efficiency and flexibility.

Real-world results were also showcased. One popcorn manufacturer that transitioned from multiple suppliers to a complete TNA integrated line — including tna intelli-flav® and tna robag® — achieved 140 bags per minute on 11g packs with waste kept below 1%. Additional innovations such as precision flour-salt dosing, automated kernel removal, and a dual-mode seasoning drum helped deliver consistent quality, minimise ingredient giveaway, and enable faster changeovers.

PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, held 29 September–1 October at the Las Vegas Convention Center, once again proved to be North America’s largest and most influential packaging and processing event. TNA experts met with attendees throughout the show to discuss tailored processing and packaging solutions at booth W2350.
