Millions of rail travellers may soon have the option of gorging on McDonald's burgers on-board trains, discussions for which are on between the railway authorities and the global fast food giant.
Buoyed by the successful bid for opening a restaurant at the Old Delhi Railway station, McDonald's is gung-ho about the prospects of doing business with the railways network that has over a crore passengers every day.
"We are talking to the Railways but we are also aware that these things take times,"Managing Director of McDonald's India franchisee (North and East) Vikram Bakshi told.
