Tyrrells Potato Chips

Brand Description

Tyrrell's Potato Chips is a manufacturer of hand cooked potato crisps in the United Kingdom.

In April 2008, Will Chase, farmer and founder of Tyrrell's Potato Chips sold a majority stake in the company to private equity firm Langholm Capital for 30 million pounds. He founded Chase Distilleries and started the production of potato vodka.

Tyrrell's Potato Chips had sales of over 13 million pounds in the year to March 2008.

In 2016 Tyrrell's was acquired by Amplify, which in turn was acquired by Hershey in January 2018. Later that year, Hershey sold Tyrrell's Potato Chips to KP snacks, the UK subsidiary of Intersnack.
