Shearer's Foods offers a range of branded and private label snack foods including a complete line of potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels, cheese curls/puffs, peanuts, popcorn, corn chips and other snacks, which are distributed throughout the Midwest, New England and parts of Canada. Shearer’s has received numerous honors and awards from industry associations and customers.
Shearer's Foods was established in 1974. In January 2008, Shearer's Foods was acquired by private equity firm Mistral Equity Partners.
In 2010 Shearer's Foods acquired the Snack Alliance.

CJ was most recently CEO of Sara Lee North America, a $7 billion division of the global consumer products company that included category leading food brands such as Sara Lee, Hillshire Farms, Jimmy Dean and Ballpark.
