Shearer's Foods Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Moraine, Ohio

Shearer's Foods has officially opened its newest manufacturing facility in Moraine, Ohio, marking the company's 17th manufacturing facility and fourth in Ohio. The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the completion of a major investment that transformed a former General Motors manufacturing plant into a state-of-the-art snack production facility. 
 

New Variety Pack Production Hub

The new facility is designed as a state-of-the-art variety pack production hub and is expected to create hundreds of jobs while strengthening Shearer's manufacturing network. The investment reflects the company's continued commitment to the Moraine community and its manufacturing operations in Ohio. 

Founded in 1974, Shearer's Foods manufactures a broad range of branded and private label snack products, including potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels, cheese curls and puffs, popcorn, peanuts, corn chips, and other savory snacks. 

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Congressman Mike Turner, representatives from the offices of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, JobsOhio, Montgomery County, the City of Moraine, and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the collaboration that helped bring the project to completion. 

The opening of the Moraine facility expands Shearer's production capacity while supporting employment and continued investment in Ohio.
