Voor de Haagse Hogeschool staat deze week een tijdelijke patatkraam. De opbrengst van de frietjes, broodjes, en drankjes gaat naar het Rode Kruis om de slachtoffers van de tsunami en aardbeving in Japan te helpen.
Studenten Martin Cok en Tim de Jong regelden de patatkraam nadat samenwerkingspogingen met de cateraar van de Hogeschool op niets uitliepen.
‘Toen ik in de krant las over de verwoestende tsunami, ontstond snel het plan om geld in te zamelen’, vertelt Martin Cok tegen dagblad Metro.
Samen met zijn medestudent zorgde hij in vier dagen voor de benodigde vergunningen van de mobiele snackbar.
