De nagroei van de aardappelen blijkt een van de laagste in jaren te zijn, zo meldt de Verenigde Telers Akkerbouw(VTA). De nagroei komt uit op 5,9 ton. Daarnaast worden meer gevallen van waterschade gemeld.
De gemiddelde obrengst van de proefrooiingen is ondertussen vastgesteld op 56,989 ton per hectare. Daarmee komt de opbrengst van aardappeloogst 2011 boven het vijfjarig gemiddelde uit, maar 1 ton onder de opbrengst van 2008 uit en 3 ton lager dan in 2004.
VTA meldt in een persbericht ook nog diverse deelnemers over waterschade gehoord te hebben. 'Deze schade bedraagt omgerekend naar het totaal bemonsterde areaal ruim 3 procent en is daarmee hoger dan de geschatte waterschade met de meting van augustus. Telers die hebben meegedaan met deze proefrooiing melden veelvuldig misvormingen en groene knollen.'
