BPC's National Chip Week campaign takes regional approach

January 29, 2008

The British Potato Council (BPC) is to concentrate its efforts in regional press in a new PR drive in February to promote a week-long celebration of chips.

The National Chip Week campaign, to run from 11 to 17 February, will feature recipes, celebrity endorsements and quirky facts and figures about chips.

Local newspaper readers will be invited to nominate their favourite chips in a bid, backed by television presenter Keith Chegwin, to find Britain’s best outlet.
