De Inca’s in Peru hebben ooit de aardappel als eetbare knol ontdekt. Feitelijk stammen alle aardappelen af van één wilde plantensoort uit Zuid-Peru.
Vandaag de dag kennen we door het natuurlijk kruisen van verschillende rassen, vele soorten en smaken aardappelen.
Waaronder de aardappelen van Mama Chunu, die van nature bijzondere voedingseigenschappen bezitten.
De ‘Mama Chunu Original’ is vol van smaak en bevat van nature een verhoogd gehalte aan antioxidanten ter bescherming van het menselijk lichaam. De aardappelen zijn te herkennen aan hun diepgele vleeskleur.
De ‘Mama Chunu - Slim’ variant bevat van nature 30% minder calorieën en zal naar verwachting na dit teeltseizoen op de markt worden gebracht.
‘Mama Chunu - Vit+’ helpt om je weerstand op peil te houden, want deze aardappel is van nature rijk aan Vitamine C. Gebaseerd op de resultaten in de veldproeven kan de ‘Vit+’ naar verwachting in de loop van 2012 beschikbaar zijn.
