Popcorn maker MetCalfe's Skinny Ltd now 100% owned by Snyder's - Lance
Snyder's-Lance, Inc. today announced that the Company's Kettle Foods subsidiary completed the acquisition of Metcalfe's skinny Limited, by acquiring the remaining 74% interest in the leading UK premium popcorn brand. Kettle Foods had initially acquired a 26% stake in the business from Metcalfe in January 2016.

Several experts on potato crops stated in Panama that global warming destroyed between 10% and 20% of Latin America's annual potato production and that it had become the main threat faced by this crop, even more than late blight, an aggressive fungus that affects this crop.
