The latest edition of Interpom | Primeurs in Kortrijk, Belgium didn't only seem to be a record edition concerning the number of exhibitioners and used surface ... also the number of visitors increased compared with the record edition of 2008 with 1,5 % - despite the bad weather conditions.
It was remarkable to see that more foreign potato professionals have found their way to Kortrijk. A Canadian visitor (Jeeh, who could that be?) has called the event the biggest professional potato exhibition of the world in its kind.
Interpom Primeurs had been opened with a celebration of the 3 million tonnes of processed potatoes in Belgium with Prime Minister Yves Leterme.
