September 25, 2014

Keystone Food Products is pleased to announce that its signature line of snacks, The Real Deal Snacks, has received the Non-GMO Project Verified seal from the Non-GMO Project, an independent verification that assures a product has been produced according to best practices for GMO avoidance.

After undergoing a series of evaluations, the Non-GMO Project verification was given to The Real Deal Snacks Original and Sriracha Veggie Chips; Blue and White Corn Tortillas; and the company's Corn Pretzels. The seal will be displayed prominently on all packaging moving forward.

"Our consumers trust us to deliver great tasting snacks with the very best ingredients possible," said Chris Busse, VP Sales and Marketing, The Real Deal Snacks. "Undergoing the verification process to earn the Non-GMO Project Verified Seal was very important to us so we could ensure our consumers can always feel good about choosing The Real Deal Snacks."

For more than 60 years the Corriere family has not only worked to harvest the healthiest flavors and turn them into delicious snacks –but they have been at the forefront of wholesome snack food innovation. The Real Deal Snacks Veggie Chips are a great-tasting snack made with real peas, real corn and real rice – and contain one and a half servings of vegetables in every delicious ounce. Veggie Chips are baked, gluten free, and contain 80% less fat than potato chips – making them the perfect snack! And earlier this year, the company launched Corn Pretzels, which are truly one-of-a-kind. These pretzels are low fat and low in sodium and contain just 110 calories per serving with the crunch of a traditional pretzel plus golden color and rich flavor of corn– a great, healthy snack for any time of the day!
