February 01, 2015

On Friday, January 16th, 2015, potato supplier EarthFresh held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to officially finalize their transition into their new home at 1095 Clay Avenue in Burlington, Ontario.

EarthFresh is a Canadian produce company specializing in fresh potatoes. The comapny boasts the largest stock of exclusive potato varieties in North America. EarthFresh is involved in all aspects of the table potato industry – from seed breeding, seed production, packing and distribution.

After over 50 years at its old location on Browns Line in Toronto, the company decided it was time to move. They had outgrown the available space and needed to expand. Burlington was selected because it is close to the EarthFresh farm in Millgrove, Ontario ( only 15 km away – less than a 20 minute drive). It’s also a great location for logistics – close to all major highways as well as the company's customers. Burlington is also close to good labour markets and skilled labour.
