McDonald's Japan offers American Inspired Cheddar Cheese Potato Balls for a limited time

There is nothing we love more than cheese. From cheese tea to cheese festivals, there isn’t a day that goes by when we don’t appreciate the goodness that is fromage.

And now, McDonald’s has given us even more reason to rejoice, launching American Cheddar Potato Bites. And what are they? Balls of cheesy goodness in bite-sized pieces of course. They’re a combo of mashed potatoes and fried cheddar cheese in chicken nugget sized pieces. They come as a side but we like to think if you have several, they could count as a main.

Before you go running to your nearest McDonald’s though, try not to be TOO disappointed as they’re only available in Japan.

They’re part of an American series returning to McDonalds Japan that was so popular, they’ve brought a second round of American-inspired food to tickle their tastebuds.

Among the menu includes The Deluxe Cheese Beef, The Deluxe Cheese Chicken and The Deluxe Cheese Muffin available on mornings.

If you want to get stuck into cheddar potato balls (and who would blame you), get yourself to Japan sharpish as they’re only available for a limited time.
