Urschel and KRONEN to showcase cutting and processing technologies at ProPak Asia 2026

From June 10-13, 2026, Urschel and KRONEN will showcase cutting and processing solutions designed to strengthen line operations for maximum production at ProPak Asia in Bangkok, Thailand.

Included in the lineup is the new Little Gem Aspire Dicer, the Sprint 2 Dicer, the Comitrol Processor Model 1700, the Comitrol Processor Model 3640A, the MicroAdjustable SL-14 Cutting Head, the KRONEN GS 10-2 Slicer, the KRONEN KUJ-V Dicer, the KRONEN KS-100 PLUS Centrifuge/Dryer and the KRONEN Tona S Slicer.
 

Little Gem Aspire Dicer

The Little Gem Aspire Dicer is designed to produce slices from 2 mm to 20 mm, as well as strips and dices up to 20 mm. The machine features a compact footprint and is engineered for a low total cost of ownership overall. Developed by the Urschel Innovation and Development team, the Little Gem Aspire incorporates patent-pending Urschel cutting methods created through extensive research and development.

The Little Gem Aspire is named after the original Little Gem machine that contributed to the early success of Urschel and later helped establish the company as a global leader in food cutting technology. 
 

Sprint 2 Dicer

The Sprint 2 Dicer provides continuous two- or three-dimensional cutting for uninterrupted production. Its slice thickness, crosscut and circular knife spindles can be adjusted to produce dices, crumbles, granulations and strips across a wide range of applications. As product moves through the process, precise cuts result from the crosscut knife spindle working together with other cutting components to create a compact cutting zone.

Comitrol Processor Model 1700

The Comitrol Processor Model 1700 supports high-capacity reduction applications including comminuting, granulating, milling, flaking, slicing, liquefying, dispersing and pureeing. The machine utilizes 6-inch (152.4 mm) diameter reduction heads available in three different styles. Product input is determined by the selected head, spacing within the head and selected impeller.

Urschel - Comitrol® Processor Model 1700

Several feed assemblies and discharge options are available, while the stainless-steel construction supports sanitation, durability and maintenance requirements. An optional HMI system can identify misaligned sensors, soft-start faults, runtime data, motor loads, overfeeding issues and remote start/stop functions when connected to a control centre. 
 

Comitrol Processor Model 3640A

The Comitrol Processor Model 3640A is a high-speed industrial machine designed for precise size reduction of food products, especially fibrous materials. The machine uses a screw feeder and high-speed impeller to continuously produce uniform particle sizes ranging from coarse cuts to fine purees. Variable frequency drives allow adjustable speed control, while interchangeable cutting heads support different textures and product requirements. The machine is used across fruits, vegetables, meat byproducts and bakery materials processing applications.

Urschel - Comitrol® Processor 3640A

MicroAdjustable SL-14 Cutting Head

The MicroAdjustable SL-14 Cutting Head features 14 cutting stations, offering up to nearly twice the capacity of the standard 8-shoe slicing head. The cutting head includes micro-adjustability and quick-clamping technology designed to speed up knife changeovers with little to no tools required and without removing the head from the machine. The spacing of cutting stations is designed to maximize slice engagement and improve slicing efficiency. 
 

KRONEN GS 10-2 Slicer

The KRONEN GS 10-2 Slicer supports slicing, dicing, shredding, grating and segmenting applications across multiple food product categories. Product enters the machine on a 5-inch (125 mm) wide built-in flat conveyor and moves toward the rotating cutting knife at preset speeds adjustable through the keypad. The machine includes interchangeable cutting discs, stainless-steel construction, hinged panels and a compact footprint suitable for limited production floor space. 
 

KRONEN KUJ-V Dicer

The KRONEN KUJ-V Dicer is designed to process food products into cubes, strips or slices in a single operation. The machine supports vegetables, fruits, ham, bacon, meat and fish applications while maintaining uniform cuts and product quality. Production capacity can reach approximately 2,500 kg per hour depending on product and cutting configuration. Adjustable speeds and interchangeable cutting tools support multiple product textures and cut sizes. 
 

KRONEN KS-100 PLUS Centrifuge/Dryer

The KRONEN KS-100 PLUS Centrifuge/Dryer is designed for drying lettuce, cut fruit, vegetables, canned products, pickled products, caviar and other food products. The machine features a counter-rotating centrifuge cycle, ergonomic design and 99 program memory locations. The dryer can operate as a standalone machine or be integrated into processing lines downstream of washing systems. Mesh inserts are available for applications involving products containing fine particles. 
 

KRONEN Tona S Slicer

The KRONEN Tona S Slicer features a mobile base frame and polyethylene boards for slicing fruits and vegetables into uniform slices. Strong inclined blades support precision cutting, while the knife block can be removed in a few simple steps for cleaning and maintenance. Its compact design allows flexible use across different production environments.
