Farmhouse Potato Bakers win award for their cheese and smokey bacon filled potato skins

A Bridlington (United Kingom) family business is celebrating winning a top national accolade in the world of food and drink.
Farmhouse Potato Bakers, who produce the Bannister's Farm range at Carnaby Industrial Estate, have won silver in The Grocer Food and Drink Awards 2010 for their cheese and smokey bacon filled potato skins.

Marie Medhurst, the company's sales and marketing director and daughter of co-founders Rob and Hilary Bannister, said the award is an exciting achievement.
"It's satisfying to know that consumers and food experts share our belief in really tasty, convenient food that is also wholesome and made with natural ingredients,"Mrs Medhurst said.
For almost 25 years the family business has been supplying the food service and retail sectors of the food industry with specialist frozen potato products
