Urschel Expands KRONEN Food Processing Portfolio to Italy and Asia

Urschel is expanding its portfolio of food cutting and processing solutions by extending the availability of KRONEN systems to Italy and additional markets across Asia, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Under the expansion, Italy and all areas of Asia will join the US, Mexico, Pakistan and China in carrying both Urschel cutting machinery and KRONEN commercial food processing systems. The offering will be delivered through Urschel Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (UAP) across Asia and Urschel International Ltd. Italy in the Italian market.

With this move, Urschel customers will be able to access KRONEN-based food processing solutions, including washers, dicers, slicers, dryers and conveyors, supported by Urschel’s established sales and service network. KRONEN systems are designed to enable hygienic, safe, sustainable and efficient processing of fresh foods, providing tailored solutions for customer needs.

KRONEN food processing equipment, including conveyors and processing lines, now offered through Urschel’s global sales and support network.

The KRONEN initiative was first announced on May 13, 2025. Beginning in May 2025, customers in the US and Mexico were able to purchase KRONEN equipment directly from Urschel. This was followed by the inclusion of Urschel’s direct offices in Pakistan and China. From Jan. 1, 2026, customers in Italy and across additional Asian markets will receive the same access. 

Existing Urschel sales representatives will continue to handle inquiries for both Urschel and KRONEN products, ensuring continuity of support and service.
