DTS and MTS Foods announce a strategic commercial partnership to deliver advanced thermal food processing solutions across India Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

August 02, 2026

Dutch TecSource B.V. (DTS), part of Sticomax Group, and MTS Foods have entered into a commercial cooperation covering India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. MTS Foods will serve as the regional commercial point of contact for DTS applications and projects, connecting local market and application knowledge with DTS process-engineering expertise.

The cooperation gives food processors in the three markets a clearer local route to discuss new applications, project requirements and lifecycle needs. MTS Foods will coordinate commercial and first-line technical enquiries in the region, supported by DTS specialists for application engineering, customized equipment and project delivery.

For more than 30 years, DTS has been a market leader in thermal food processing built around auger (screw) technology. DTS designs and builds customized blanching, cooling and cooking systems and complete lines for potato, vegetable, fruit, mushroom and protein applications. With over 800 blanchers, cookers and coolers in operation worldwide including more than 50 in India DTS has one of the largest installed bases in its field and unmatched practical experience in auger-based thermal processing.

Founded in 2006, Menon Technical Services Private Limited (MTS) supports food processors from its Bengaluru head office and regional presence in Noida and Ahmedabad. MTS is a leading provider of advanced food- processing and sorting solutions in India and neighbouring markets. The company represents internationally recognised equipment manufacturers and supplies technologies for sorting, peeling, cutting, slicing, processing, and automation across the potato, snack-food, fruit, vegetable, nuts, and speciality-food industries. In addition to equipment sales, MTS Foods provides application support, installation coordination, commissioning assistance, spare parts, and after-sales service.

Closer coordination from application to operation

Food-processing projects increasingly require a close connection between process objectives, local operating realities and specialist equipment design. Under the cooperation, processors can begin the conversation with MTS Foods in the region. MTS and DTS will then work together to assess the product, capacity, process conditions, utilities, hygiene requirements, line integration and lifecycle needs before defining the right technical route.

The same approach will support existing DTS equipment in the territory: MTS Foods will coordinate the local first response and ensure that DTS engineering or specialist technical support is involved when required. Named contacts and the final support model will be communicated directly to relevant customers.

André van Berkel, CEO of DTS:

"This cooperation brings our product leadership and installed expertise closer to this strategically important region. The potential is remarkable, and with MTS’ strong application knowledge and customer proximity we can respond much more effectively to our existing and new customers."

Krishna Kumar Menon, Managing Director of MTS Foods:

"Food processors expect globally proven technology and strong local coordination. Working with DTS adds deep experience in customised thermal and process equipment to the solutions we can bring to customers, backed by our commercial and technical organisation in the region."
